Philippa Barry is a highly knowledgeable bio-archaeologist with extensive experience in both fieldwork and research. Her work has primarily focused on mortuary theory, human remains, heritage conservation, and dry-stone walls, among other areas of interest. Philippa holds a Master's degree in Bioarchaeology and Human Osteology from University College Cork, and a Higher Diploma in Archaeology. She also spent an Erasmus year studying German Civil Law at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. Her professional experience includes working as an Archaeologist at Courtney Deery and Rubicon Heritage Services Ltd, a Financial Services employee at the Department of Finance Ireland, and as a Research Assistant at The Discovery Programme. She is also well-versed in social media outreach, having been an Arcland Exhibition & Conference Coordinator at The Discovery Programme. Philippa is deeply passionate about her work and remains a skilled and knowledgeable professional, poised to tackle and accomplish new challenges as they arise.
