Philip Yankov

Philip Yankov is a highly accomplished individual with a passion for building and a wealth of educational and professional experiences.

He pursued his education diligently, acquiring a Ph.D. Candidate degree from the University of Groningen, an MSc from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, and a BSc from the same institution after completing High School at PMG 'N.Obreshkov'.

Throughout his career, Philip has been associated with several notable organizations, including Web Factory where he currently serves as a Software Engineer.

Prior to his current role, he held prominent positions such as Founder & Mentor at x8academy, Lecturer at Sofia University 'St. Kliment Ohridski', Chief Technology Officer at Ablera, CTO at FairRefund, Product Manager & Team Lead at Toptal, and Consultant at a Startup in Stealth Mode, displaying his diverse skill set and leadership capabilities.

With a strong technical background, Philip has also worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Chobolabs, a Member of Technical Staff and Project/Technical Lead at VMware, a Software Engineering Intern at Microsoft, a Software Developer at SAP Labs, as well as serving as a Civil 3D Designer at Freelance 3D Modeling.
