Phil Shackleton

Phil Shackleton is the co-founder and Experience Director of Mixd, a digital agency specializing in user-centered design and services, particularly for the public sector and NHS websites.12 He founded Mixd in 2004 with Mike Danford.15 Shackleton works closely with clients to establish their web strategy and has a creative focus on user experience design.3

Prior to founding Mixd, Shackleton worked as a Designer at Brahm from 2000 to 2004 and as an Art Director at Idea Machine from 1999 to 2000.4 With nearly two decades of experience in the digital industry, he has helped Mixd become a national leader in web accessibility and user-centered design principles.5

Under Shackleton's leadership, Mixd has grown to employ 16 people and is now seeking to expand through a buy-and-build strategy.1 The company recently won new contracts in Wales and Scotland, covering the whole of the UK.1
