Phil Price

Phil Price is the CEO and managing member of Nateemma LLC, a company he started after retiring from the corporate tech world.12 He is based in Encinitas, California, and has been leading Nateemma LLC since June 2013.2

Background and Experience

Phil has an extensive background in the tech industry:

• He worked at Qualcomm for 20 years as Vice President of Engineering, where he was involved in various projects including ad hoc peer-peer communications, Android apps, WiFi, Bluetooth, and high-speed cellular systems.2
• Prior to Qualcomm, he was a Sr Member of Technical Staff at Hughes Network Systems for over 4 years.2

Education

• BSc (Hons) in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Southampton University (1981-1984).2
• Attended Caerleon Comprehensive from 1974 to 1981.2

Current Focus

At Nateemma LLC, Phil has worked on various projects:

• Developing iOS and Android apps for a chemical engineering company
• Creating ultrasound imaging and patient database systems for field-deployable medical kits
• Designing photo filter and editing apps for iOS
• Developing distributed/fault tolerant command and control systems for satellites
• Working on High Performance Computing environments

Phil is currently studying Machine Learning and plans to apply this knowledge to future app development.2
