Phil Hofmeyer is an Associate Professor of Renewable Energy specializing in solar PV system design for commercial applications. He has designed courses covering small wind systems, solar hot water, and micro hydroelectricity. His research and graduate degrees focus on forest ecology, dynamics, and silviculture.
Phil Hofmeyer completed his Ph.D. in Forest ecology and silviculture at the University of Maine and holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Forest and Natural Resources Management from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
