Phil Gomes

Phil Gomes is a highly respected marcomm leader, strategist, advocate, and mentor with a rich background in enterprise and startup environments.

He currently serves as the Marketing and Communications Lead at Bloq, a pioneering company in blockchain infrastructure and applications, overseeing the corporate brand and advising various spinoffs.

Phil's accomplishments include successfully launching Vesper Finance and reshaping the parent company within a short period to adapt to the economic changes in 2020.

Prior to his role at Bloq, Phil held a senior vice president position at Edelman, where he led initiatives in social media and blockchain technology, and counseled executives on various communication strategies.

With nearly a decade's experience in Silicon Valley, Phil has collaborated with startups and reputable organizations like SRI International.

Regarded for his innovative contributions, Phil was among the first PR professionals to initiate a blog and to illustrate the significance of blockchain technology in communications.
