Phil Carter

Phil Carter is the Head of Product: Expansion at Faire, disrupting global commerce, with a background in business, economics, and technology. Phil is an alumnus of Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where he pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA). He also holds a B.A. in Economics and Chinese from Williams College. Phil has diversified experience, having held various advisory roles at memoryOS, Aura Health, Rise Science, Save My Exams, uDocz, and more. Phil has a deep understanding of growth and product management, evident from his tenure as a Senior Director of Growth, Director of Product, and Group Product Manager at Quizlet, and Director, Senior Product Manager, and Product Manager at Ibotta, Inc. Notably, Phil has been a Partner and Angel Investor at Reforge and a Board Member at Almost Fun. Phil's entrepreneurial journey includes founding and leading Empath Labs. Before his foray into tech, Phil worked at Bain & Company as an Associate Consultant and later as a Senior Associate Consultant. Phil is also a Learning Enthusiast, having completed the Beginning iOS App Development Nanodegree in Computer Science from Udacity. Outside work, Phil enjoys hiking with his wife Ashley and spending quality time with his daughters Kinley and Liana.
