Peyton Jones

Peyton Siler Jones (she/her) is a climate action professional with expertise in urban planning and environmental policy. She previously worked as a Climate Resilience Planner at Linnean Solutions, where she focused on equitable resilience planning for municipalities.13 Jones holds a master's degree in urban planning and environmental policy from Tufts University.1

Currently, Peyton serves as the Sustainability and Resilience Program Director in the Center for Municipal Practice at the National League of Cities. In this role, she leads research and provides technical assistance on energy decarbonization, infrastructure resilience, and municipal capacity building for collective and just climate action.1

Prior to her current position, Jones worked for the City of Boston's Climate Ready Boston Program as a Climate Resilience Project Manager.1 She has also founded her own consultancy, Siler Climate Consulting, where she supports local communities in climate action planning, climate resilient land use planning, equitable stakeholder engagement, and climate plan implementation.24
