Amelia Air's Impact
Since its founding in 2019, Amelia Air has rescued 1,318 dogs, cats, and even a few ferrets. In 2023 alone, they saved 310 animals, with more than half of these rescues taking place in California.1 Petra personally flies the majority of the missions in California, demonstrating her dedication to the cause.
Personal Commitment
Despite the emotional challenges of rescue work, Petra remains professional and focused during her missions. She has two 11-year-old pit bulls at home and understands the importance of maintaining boundaries to continue her rescue efforts.1
