Peter Young

Peter Young, a veteran in the life-science industry with over 35 years of experience, has worked for multinational pharmaceutical, biotech, vaccine, and specialty pharma companies. He has a broad understanding of the business from research to commercialization, and he is well-versed in private and public sector policy boundaries. Young has a BA in History and an MBA in Marketing from Indiana University. He is presently a partner at Pappas Capital, and he has also served as a principal at Syncratic Consulting LLC and an executive-in-residence at Pappas Capital. Young has held CEO roles at various companies such as Bone Medical Ltd, Ikano Therapeutics, and AlphaVax, to name a few. He was the chairman of NC BIO and served as a director at Memory Pharmaceuticals, among other board positions. Young has also worked in numerous senior roles at Glaxo and Abbott, with a focus on marketing, commercial strategy, international product and pharmaceutical division management, sales, and business development.
