Peter Yamakawa

Peter Yamakawa is currently the Dean of ESAN Graduate School of Business, the first Business School in Hispanic America. With over 20 years of experience in telecommunications project management in international and local companies, he has overseen projects for international bodies such as the Inter-American Development Bank (BID) and the World Bank, as well as large-scale national projects.
He holds a Ph.D. and MSc in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Osaka, Japan; an MBA from ESAN, and a degree in Electronic Engineering from the National University of Engineering. Peter also boasts professional certifications such as PgMP®, PMP®, and RMP® from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Peter Yamakawa is dedicated to advancing ESAN's position as a top global business school through a cutting-edge 4.0 education model focusing on innovation, entrepreneurship, and community values.
