Peter Winter

Peter Winter is a highly skilled professional with a background in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, holding a PhD from Northwestern University. With over 5 years of experience at IDEO as a Senior Lead Data Scientist and Designer, Peter has been instrumental in building data strategies and designing products/services across various industry sectors.

Having formal training in data science and computational research methodology through his PhD in Complex Systems, Peter has a keen interest in making user-friendly designs that enhance people's experiences. He has successfully led cross-functional teams, scoped projects, and mentored colleagues, showcasing his leadership and teamwork abilities.

Prior to his role at IDEO, Peter Winter worked as a Data Scientist at Datascope Analytics and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and PHD Candidate at Northwestern University. He also gained valuable experience as a Research Assistant at MIT Hatsopoulos Microfluids laboratory, solidifying his expertise in research and data analysis.
