Peter Trkman
Full professor/Visiting lecturer/consultant in supply chain and information systems management
Peter Trkman is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Ljubljana.1 His research interests include business models, business analytics, business process management, and supply chain risk management.1 Trkman has received several awards for his research, with his work being cited over 10,000 times and an h-index of 36.1 Five of his papers are among the 1% most cited papers in Scopus.1
As a principal investigator, Trkman has acquired over 1 million euros in research funding.1 He has participated in various research and consulting projects, and recently conducted workshops on Generative Artificial Intelligence.12 In his teaching, Trkman combines theory with practical examples and consistently receives above-average student evaluations.1
Trkman's courses include Introduction to Information Systems, Electronic Business, Economics of Information Systems, Business Logistics, Optimization in Logistics, and How to publish in scientific journals, among others.1 He is also a member of the FELU governance board and the Committee of Research & Doctoral studies.1
In addition to his primary role, Trkman has served as a visiting professor at Sichuan University, where he taught Supply Chain Management and Introduction to Information Systems Management courses.1 He has also been a reviewer for the National Science Centre in Poland and the Swiss National Science Foundation.1
