Peter Stephenson

Peter Stephenson is a seasoned professional with a rich background in fostering collaboration between start-ups and large corporations in exploring innovative ideas. His career spans across academic and industrial laboratories, start-ups, and Fortune 100/500 companies.

With a solid educational foundation, Peter pursued a PhD at James Cook University, a Postgraduate Certificate at The Australian National University, and a Bachelor of Science (Honors) also at James Cook University.

Peter has held key roles in various organizations, including serving as the Chief Product Officer and Chief Technology Officer at Overproof, and as the Owner of DBHP Consulting. He has also provided advisory services at Podimetrics, Count It Labs, Inc., and held leadership positions at companies like Sensentia and Humana.

Prior to his corporate roles, Peter Stephenson built a strong academic career, working as a Senior Scientist and Faculty member at IMEDIA Laboratories, an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Rhode Island, a Scientist at Fraunhofer Center for Research in Computer Graphics, and a Lecturer at James Cook University.
