Peter Sorenson
Peter Sorenson is an experienced communication designer and educator with an international reputation. He has worked in China, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. Sorenson is a postgraduate and undergraduate education specialist widely recognized for his ability to negotiate and collaborate with organizations. He has also completed research in transdisciplinary fields, from visual semiotics to international user-experience of websites.
Sorenson's expertise lies in communication design, from branding and identity to publication design. He has worked with major corporations in Australia, including Melbourne Football Club, Red Tulip, and Taubmans. Sorenson has a Master of Arts in Visual arts from RMIT University, a Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Melbourne, and a Diploma of Art in Graphic Design from Swinburne University of Technology.
Sorenson is currently self-employed as an education and creative consultant. He is also the former Senior Lecturer at RMIT, Program Director of the Graduate Diploma in Graphic Design at RMIT University, Director International Programs, School of Media & Communication at RMIT University, Program Leader, Advertising at RMIT University, and former Senior Designer at Value Added Design.
