Peter Shields

Peter Shields is a seasoned software executive with a strong focus on sales and team building. He currently serves as the President and CEO of Lavastorm, specializing in #dataprep, #bigdata, and #analytics. Peter holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School, a BSE in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and has also studied at Hamden High.

Throughout his career, Peter has held various key positions in renowned organizations. He was the Global Accounts Business Development at Ernst & Young, CEO Early Stage Advisor Mentor at PRSConsulting where he advised companies like PaxeraHealth, JetPatch, and PercentPledge. He has also been the President and CEO at multiple companies including Lavastorm, AccuRev, Lumigent Technologies, Inc., SoundBite Communications, Tillion, and Formation Systems. Peter has also served as VP of Worldwide Sales at Aspen Technology and as a Large Account Manager at IBM.
