Peter Shafran

Peter Shafran is the Executive Producer of River Spirit Music, LLC, where he advocates for artists and audiences alike, introducing emerging talents to new crowds through music events.

In 2018, Peter initiated the River Spirit Music & Arts Festival and the Waterfront Concert Series in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY, and hosts a monthly music concert series in his home featuring artists from the U.S. and Canada.

He also curates the Live@theUpstream Concert Series at the Upstream Gallery, showcasing talents in Hastings-on-Hudson and presents shows in various venues including Andrus on Hudson and Tarrytown Music Hall.

Peter's educational background includes a JD in Law from Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, a BA in Psychology from Binghamton University, and studied at Yeshivah of Flatbush High School and Minisink Valley Central High School in Honors programs.

With an extensive work history, Peter has held positions such as Director at Musae, Mortgage Banker at Chase, Co-Director at Tribes Hill Music Festival, and CEO at 360 Entertainment and Productions.

He has also been involved in legal roles as the Founder of LAW OFFICES OF PETER W. SHAFRAN, LLC, Partner at Hankin, Hanig, Stall & Shafran, and held positions at various law firms and as an Intern at Port Authority of New York & New Jersey.

Additionally, he managed the Kosher Kitchen at SUNY-Binghamton.
