Peter Schankman is a talented musician and entertainment professional with a passion for engaging and entertaining audiences. Based in St. Louis, Peter has built an impressive career as Director of Operations and a senior member of the entertainment division at Contemporary Productions, a popular events agency with expertise in talent buying, meeting planning, experiential marketing, and concert venue management.

Peter is a graduate of the prestigious music school at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has extensive experience in procuring and managing artists throughout the USA, specializing in private event and luxury wedding entertainment. In this role, Peter works closely with an exclusive roster of the Midwest's best party bands and maintains close relationships with top artists on both coasts.

As Director of Operations at Contemporary, Peter is responsible for optimizing the company's proprietary CRM platform, IT infrastructure, web presence, and other strategic projects. He is committed to helping the team continue delivering Unforgettable Experiences to their clients.

When he's not busy managing operations at Contemporary, Peter can be found performing weekly with the energetic party band, FatPocket. As a versatile and accomplished jazz pianist, Peter brings a wealth of musical expertise to his work in the entertainment industry.
