Peter Samuelson

Peter Samuelson is the President and Founder of Ardeo Education Solutions, a company dedicated to making loan repayment assistance programs (LRAPs) more accessible to students and educational institutions.12 He was born in Taiwan to a missionary family and was influenced by his parents' work ethic and commitment to service.1 Samuelson pursued his higher education at Greenville University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, and later attended Yale Law School, obtaining a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.3

Before founding Ardeo, Samuelson worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, which provided him with valuable insights into business operations.13 His experience on the Board of Directors of a private liberal arts college inspired him to develop the concept of LRAPs, aimed at helping students attend their first-choice colleges without the burden of student loan debt.3

Under his leadership, Ardeo has partnered with over 200 institutions, supporting more than 25,000 students by offering loan repayment subsidies to graduates whose incomes fall below a certain threshold.24 Samuelson's vision for Ardeo is to ensure that students can pursue their desired education and careers without fear of debt holding them back.2
