Peter J Reisman

Peter J. Reisman is the Managing Director and Chief Communications Officer at Bank of China USA, a position he has held since joining the bank in 2017. With nearly 30 years of experience in dealing with both private and government entities in China, Reisman is fluent in Chinese language and culture. His expertise includes sourcing, negotiating, and structuring equity and debt investments, as well as advising on cross-border investments and trade between the U.S. and China, as well as Israel.

At Bank of China USA, Reisman leads initiatives in government and public relations, new business development, marketing, and social impact investing. He is actively involved in several organizations, serving as a member of the China General Chamber of Commerce-U.S.A. and the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations. Additionally, he is on the board of Touro University and is part of the advisory board for the Asia-Pacific Institute of the American Jewish Committee (AJC) .123

Reisman holds a Juris Doctor degree and an LL.M. from Columbia Law School, and he was the first American to graduate with a Master's in Law from Peking University Law School .1
