Peter Cusack

Peter Reinhardt is not a Senior Software Engineer at Segment; rather, he is the co-founder and former CEO of Segment, a customer data platform company. Reinhardt co-founded Segment in 2011 while studying Aerospace Engineering at MIT. Under his leadership, Segment was sold to Twilio for $3.2 billion in 2020. After leaving Twilio, Reinhardt became the CEO of Charm Industrial, a startup focused on carbon mitigation through bio-oil sequestration and other innovative methods.123

Reinhardt's career includes experience as a Research Assistant at the Naval Postgraduate School and as a Lab Assistant at MIT, where he worked on projects related to aerospace and gravitational wave visualizations.2 He has a strong interest in climate technology and has been involved in various initiatives to address the global climate crisis through Charm Industrial.3
