Peter Panepento

Peter Panepento is an accomplished writer, speaker, and expert in philanthropy, nonprofit marketing, and media relations. He is the co-founder of Turn Two Communications, a communications, marketing, and media relations firm specializing in helping nonprofits, foundations, and socially minded companies improve their storytelling. Panepento has over 20 years of experience in the media industry, working as an assistant managing editor and senior reporter at The Chronicle of Philanthropy, and as a reporter for Times Publishing Company/Erie Times-News, among other roles.
As the former senior vice president of knowledge and community at the Council on Foundations, Panepento is a frequent media source on trends and insights related to nonprofits and giving. His writing has appeared in major publications, such as The New York Times, Forbes, and Mashable, as well as in The Chronicle of Philanthropy, Reader's Digest, and Men's Health. Panepento is also the author of the forthcoming book, Modern Media Relations for Nonprofits, and a contributor to Nonprofit Marketing Guide.
