Meet Peter Mathews, MD - an experienced physician with over 20 years of experience in implementing Ambulatory Electronic Health Records. Peter worked 50% in clinical and 50% in Clinical IT, implementing Epic EHRs and working alongside physicians to train and govern the system. Having led Clinical Content Creation, Decision Support, and Population Management teams, as well as spearheaded iPad rollouts to physicians, Peter has a deep understanding of ambulatory physician workflow.

Peter earned his Bachelor's in Biology from UCLA and went on to study for his Doctor of Medicine (MD) at UC San Diego. He is most interested in consulting for mobile health startups geared towards both patients and physicians.

Outside of his professional work, Peter is a Deacon at St. Apollinaris Catholic Church in California. He has previously worked for The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. Physician Recruitment Services, Kaiser Permanente as an Assistant Physician in Chief for Technology, a Decision Support Physician Lead, and a Physician.
