Peter Lindholm

Peter Lindholm is a distinguished professional known for his extensive background in both academia and medical practice. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physiology, General, and a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Medicin from the prestigious Karolinska institutet. With a strong educational foundation in both research and clinical medicine, Lindholm has made significant contributions to various organizations throughout his career.

Lindholm currently serves as the Professor in Residence and holds the Gurnee Endowed Chair of Hyperbaric and Diving Medicine Research at the University of California San Diego. Prior to his current position, he founded and owned Oxelerate AB, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and leadership abilities. His past experiences include roles such as an Associate Professor at Karolinska Institutet, Senior Consultant in Radiology at Karolinska University Hospital, and Visiting Associate Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine.

Furthermore, Lindholm has an impressive history within the medical field, having served in multiple leadership positions at Karolinska University Hospital. He has held roles such as Director of thoracic radiology, Head of the section of thoracic radiology, and Head of the section of radiology residents. His diverse experience also includes being a Radiologist, Residency program director, and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at various renowned institutions.

In addition to his academic and professional endeavors, Lindholm has contributed to research in collaboration with organizations like FOI and the Office of Naval Research.
