Peter Kruger is a tech entrepreneur, investor, and academic with a strong scientific and technological background. He was born in Italy to a half-Polish, half-South African family, and as a child, he crossed the Iron Curtain 14 times, an experience that influenced his upbringing significantly. He has a master's degree in Physics from Università degli Studi di Roma 'La Sapienza' and studied Theoretical Physics, specializing in neural networks, years before Deep Learning and AI became popular.

Kruger spent over 20 years in the digital and IT industries as an entrepreneur, executive manager, investor, and board member, working for companies such as Tiscali S.p.A. and Rai - Radiotelevisione Italiana S.p.A. In the early 2010s, he began his investing career, placing his first investments and helping startups a as public speaker, journalist, and lecturer.

Kruger is the founder and chairman of AgriFood-Tech Italia and was the former founder and managing partner of AgFood Ventures, where he led agrifood-tech seed fund. He also launched Startupbootcamp FoodTech, a top global foodtech accelerator, where he was the CEO and managing director. Furthermore, Kruger served on the board of several organizations, including GamePix, Roma Startup, Canvace Srl, and URList.
