Peter Jarowski

Dr. Peter Jarowski, born in New York, is an accomplished professional in the field of chemistry and computational design.

He obtained his B. Sc. in Chemistry from New York University (NYU) in 2001, where he received the Isazore Rubiner Award for Excellence in Chemical Research.

Furthering his education, Dr. Jarowski pursued his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2006, under the guidance of Professors K. N. Houk and M. A. Garcia-Garibay, with funding from the American Chemical Society, Organic Division Fellowship.

He then embarked on a postdoctoral research stint in Zurich, Switzerland, at Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule, focusing on experimental synthetic and physical organic chemistry under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Fran u00E7ois Diederich.

Transitioning into an independent career, Dr. Jarowski specialized in molecular and supramolecular computational and experimental design, emphasizing optoelectronics and employing techniques from physical organic chemistry.

Leaving academia, he co-founded ChemAlive SA, a company dedicated to total computational prediction of chemical reactions by integrating theoretical expertise with the practical needs of experimental chemists, using high-level quantum chemistry, machine learning, and big data to provide rapid and accurate results for various chemical industries and educational purposes.
