Peter Hafez

Peter Hafez is the Chief Data Scientist at RavenPack, an innovative provider of big data analytics solutions for financial market players. He has a strong academic background that includes a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Copenhagen and a Master's degree in Economics and Finance from Cass Business School.

As the head of the Data Science department at RavenPack, Peter leads a team of experts with diverse backgrounds in image processing, mathematics, econometrics and machine learning. His team is responsible for developing and designing new products derived from RavenPack's Big Data Analytics, including multi-asset-class indicators that capture sentiment and media attention at company or country level.

Peter is committed to advancing the field of big data analytics in the financial markets and has authored and co-authored many papers, whitepapers, and research studies. His expertise in big data, machine learning and econometrics in the financial markets has been invaluable to RavenPack and their clients.

He has also contributed to the industry by serving as an Advisory Board Member at Alpha Events.
