Peter H Wasserman is an experienced professional in the real estate industry with a focus on low- and moderate-income multifamily housing.
Since 2002, Peter has been actively involved in various aspects of real estate, including development, financing, construction, brokerage, and asset management.
His expertise includes managing large new construction transactions, primarily using tax-exempt bond financing.
From 2005 to 2009, Peter specialized in the acquisition/rehabilitation of USDA Section 515 properties and was engaged in multiple LIHTC transactions for Section 515 assets.
Following the 2008 financial crisis, Peter redirected his efforts towards establishing and expanding a non-profit organization called Affordable Housing America, Inc. (AHA), focused on acquiring and preserving properties across the US.
In 2009, Peter co-founded Alliance Fund Advisors, LLC (AFA) with his father, Stephen M. Wasserman, to provide strategic consulting services to AHA and other developers on various real estate projects, including affordable multifamily and commercial office buildings.
Peter, along with his father, established Alliance Fund Management, LLC in 2012, which aims to offer tax-exempt financing solutions for the large-scale preservation of affordable housing.
Before transitioning into real estate, Peter spent five years working with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in program coordination roles, overseeing concert events at Chastain Park Amphitheater and Symphony Hall.
Peter holds a degree in Economics from Georgia State University.
