Peter Feinstein, Co-founder and Venture Partner at BioVentures Investors
Peter Feinstein: is the co-founder of BioVentures Investors, a venture capital firm focused on medical technology investments, along with Marc Goldberg. He formed the firm's first fund in 1998 and currently serves as a Venture Partner.12
Prior to co-founding BioVentures Investors, Feinstein was the Chairman and CEO of Feinstein Kean Healthcare (FKH), a communications and strategic consulting firm he founded in 1987. Under his leadership, FKH grew to become a dominant player in the biotechnology industry.1
Feinstein entered the biotechnology industry in 1981 as a consultant to Biogen. After Biogen's IPO in 1983, he was appointed Vice-President of Corporate Communications at the company, where he oversaw global investor relations and other responsibilities.1
He was a co-founder of the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council, serving as Executive Director and a member of the Board of Directors for 12 years. Feinstein has also served on the Executive Committee of the Board of Associates of the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research and on the Executive Board of the Health Science and Technology Division of Harvard and MIT.1
