Peter Eichorn is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in technology, product development, and management. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Product Development at NIC Inc., he oversees all aspects of product and platform software development and enterprise architecture across various product verticals. In his previous role within NIC, Peter was instrumental in shaping the technology landscape of the Texas business unit, Texas.gov, focusing on technology strategy, engineering, and operations. Prior to his tenure at NIC, he played a pivotal role as the IT Director for The Home Depot, where he led teams dedicated to enhancing e-commerce capabilities. Peter kickstarted his career at Ernst & Young, honing his skills in management consulting with a focus on Information Technology. With a solid educational foundation, Peter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia. Currently based in Austin, Texas, Peter and his family call this vibrant city their home.
