Peter Crocker

Peter Crocker is the CEO and Co-Founder of Oxford Semantic Technologies (OST), a company that develops RDFox, an advanced knowledge graph and semantic reasoner.12 He has led OST since its founding, growing it into an established business implementing solutions globally.2

Crocker has an extensive background in technology and product management:

1. Education: He holds a Master of Computer Science with Distinction and a Master of Engineering Science, First class, both from the University of Oxford.13

2. Previous experience: Before OST, Crocker worked at IBM, where he was the Program Director for IBM Watson IoT Platform Product Management.1 He has experience in product development, architecture, and consulting in enterprise integration.2

3. Career progression at OST:

   • Joined as Chief Technology Officer in January 20183

Under Crocker's leadership, OST has applied RDFox to various domains, including financial fraud detection, regulatory compliance, data integration, clinical decision support, configuration management, and personalized recommendations.2

Recently, in July 2024, Crocker oversaw the acquisition of Oxford Semantic Technologies by Samsung Electronics, which aims to integrate OST's technology into a wide range of Samsung products.45
