Peter Chiu

Peter Chiu is a dedicated Security Analyst at SecOps NZ CDO (Cyber Defence Operations), specializing in analyzing and triaging security alerts, detections, and events. He recently completed an internship and graduate program at Security Labs NZ, following his successful cybersecurity practitioner course at Cyber Prep Academy. Peter holds a Bachelor of Software Engineering degree from Massey University and a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Physiotherapy) from the University of Otago. With a background in software engineering and healthcare, Peter is eager to expand his presence in the computer and IT industry. He is recognized for his proactive nature, teamwork skills, and goal-oriented mindset. Peter is bilingual in English and Chinese, boasting exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. He possesses strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills coupled with an analytical approach.
