Pete Ratajczak

Pete Ratajczak is a creative, results-oriented, and highly experienced Public Relations and Marketing Manager who has spent seven years in professional sports journalism and 20 years in developing and directing effective B2C and B2B outreach and marketing strategies and programs. His expertise in marketing strategy, marketing communications, media events, writing press releases, brand management, program management, and public speaking is highly valued.

Pete graduated with a BA in English from San Francisco State University and is a graduate of the Midwest Academy Community Organizing training program and the National Arts Marketing Project Advanced Training program. He has a deep understanding of marketing strategy, marketing communications, media events, writing press releases, brand management, program management, and public speaking.

Pete began his professional career as the Executive Director of The Peace Museum and later served as the Assistant Field Director at Coalition Against Bigger Trucks and the Administrative Director at Citizens for Reliable and Safe Highways. He also worked as the Business/Marketing Manager for Theatre Bay Area and the Outreach Manager/Public Relations for Alcohol Justice (formerly Marin Institute). Notable among his accomplishments is his four-year tenure as the Marketing Director for TIX Bay Area where he achieved record company sales and revenues while managing with a flat ad budget and staff support.

From 2008 to 2015, Pete served as a Contributing Reporter at MLSsoccer.com and CenterLineSoccer.com while simultaneously being the singer/songwriter in a local rock and roll band. He also advises local businesses on developing and implementing successful social media marketing strategies.

In 2020, Pete joined Grant Thornton LLP as their Regional Marketing Manager for the West, where he continues to deliver exceptional results.
