Senior Vice President of Information Technology

Leading the IT organization in it's efforts to enable business efficiency and transformation through analytics acceleration, a cloud first approach, strategic enhancements across SAP and the Enterprise Application suite along with ensuring a comprehensive security strategy across these domains.
•	Designed two-year strategic roadmaps across the focus areas of Analytics, Enterprise Applications, Security, and Infrastructure through deep partnership with each business function and IT.
•	Innovated a concept for Micro Analytics to help with turn over so new hires can get targeted daily analytics to focus on their critical role functions while allowing leaders visibility to progress.
•	Led the re-establishment of Execute KPIs along with IT Department KPIs based on the new normal to ensure the most actionable, outcome focused information is driving action.
•	Overseeing the implementation of security enhancements in privileged access management and vulnerability management across both IT and OT environments along. Negotiated a ransomware retainer model with an industry leading firm as a protective insurance model.
•	Created a Data Science acceleration model to jump start delivery for predictive business opportunities.
•	Developed and now managing a technology debt reduction program to migrate 95% of legacy enterprise applications to SaaS solutions by the end of FY 23.
•	Established a cross training analytics program that has double the PowerBI capability within our IT staff to support the business in a 3-month period.
•	Defined new IT contract standards to include new terms protections needed in the migration to SaaS from On-Prem applications management.

Vice President Information Technology

Responsible for overall enterprise technology to consult with operating divisions for new business solutions, develop technology road maps, implement standard. This role still retains all prior duties for leading the decision science, supply chain, enterprise projects teams along with the various technology options to assist in driving business disruption opportunities.
•	Evolving technical use cases to reduce human injury through enhanced technology options such as "Smart Locks", Mixed Reality Training, and Remote Assist within plant environments.
•	Established a program to define a Citizen Data Science model. Now established and beginning divisional role out to key partners to validate and evolve the model for wider adoption.
•	Introduced RPA (Robotic Process Automation) central service to automate business functions cross-domain.
•	Consulting with divisional CIOs to provide additional help in expanding their capabilities to deliver additional material initiatives.
•	Achieved consistent balance between strategic technology roadmaps and tactic delivery of the roadmap elements.
•	Generating future strategies around data virtualization, quantum compute, and longer term technologies that can position our business for future ROI when being an early leader is material.

Post Holdings

Responsible for strategy, oversight, and implementation applications and data analytics with business facing focus on privacy across employees, consumers, and operational processes to comply with emerging global compliance trends.

• Established and expanded internal Decision Science consulting team. Also provided cross training capabilities to empower operating divisions to leverage re-usable BI models, Data Science efforts, and evolve to self-service advanced analytics.
• Led the core Decision Science team program/project efforts to delivery of 92 projects in FY 18 with a 4-year cost save/avoidance total of $113M (tracked by effort).
• Developed a “common sense” model for Privacy Shield certification. Included setting strategic goals, vetting required divisional compliance, and implementing new processes/3rd party agreements to certify needed operating divisions in Sept 2017.
• Assumed leadership for the Post Holdings Cybersecurity Team with the goal of improving the transition from project only focus to a hybrid of managing both new project efforts and operational evolution in parallel. Restructured the Detect and Protect teams to also focus on operating division oversight to ensure consistent tools and process are being leveraged effectively.
• Led assessment and planning to deliver new EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance since international presence expanded.
• Provided oversight for implementations of four enterprise application initiatives. These four covered expanded Financial Consolidation capabilities, Consolidated Audit Oversight, Unified Lease Asset Tracking, and improved Supplier Management (enhanced quality monitoring).

Vice President of Enterprise Applications and Chief Privacy Officer

Responsible for leveraging cloud-based platforms to ensure migration/transformation of over 60 applications. This role evolved to define and deliver strategy for continued integration, information intelligence, and enterprise application alignment.

•	Executed advanced analytics experiments in parallel. Focused on business unit issues across spectrum of cognitive, predictive, and proactive analytics. Formed analytics asset model for re-use by business units including Master Data advisors, product predictors, payment term optimizers, and dozen plus efforts thru visual analytics/machine learning.
• Evolved business intelligence resources to work in consultative models. Provided advanced analytics expertise across operating companies as low cost, high value internal provider.
• Formed Analytics Council to pull together analytics thought leadership. Shared experiences/ challenges and assisted in making decisions based on information quality, tools, and wisdom.
• Led transformation of legacy Post Foods and Malt O Meal organizations. Formed new Post Consumer Brands $2B business unit through technology and application integration.
• Executed design and delivery of Enterprise Data Lake (less than $1M). Provided centralized financial, procurement, logistics, and quality information for operating units. 
• Provided Data Visualization suite and Enterprise Intelligence. Delivered initial platform in 8 months. Allowed “what if” modeling and business teams utilized to explore current data/develop alternate options with minimal IT assistance.

Retail Systems custom development and strategy. Included web and iOS/Android development along with system integration. Managed hybrid group of retail and Ecommerce development resources (60-65 in size) focused on projects integrating customer experience. Combined brick and mortar stores with Ecommerce to form Omni channel model. “Reserve for Pickup” thru online channel to stores (implemented and exceeded business targets). Accountable for retail systems managing $1.5 billion in gross retail sales.

• Defined/executed key strategy efforts, prioritized strategy topics, and managed 3-4 strategy efforts in parallel (per quarter) with 15-20 smaller tactical efforts.
• Included, Retail Store Mobile Device Roadmap, RFID Evolution, NCF (Near Field Communication), Enterprise CRM, International Ecommerce.

Brown Shoe Company

VP, Cross Channel Retail Transformation

Ecommerce development and platform technology. Included development, testing, integration, and business relationship functions. Platform included Shoes.com, Famousfootwear.com, Naturalizer.com, and nine other Brown Shoe online properties. Maintained and enhanced $190 million-dollar revenue generating Ecommerce platform with $70 million of growth over 3 years.

• Established architecture by leveraging existing platform to deliver first generation Ecommerce enabled mobile websites for top three brands; sites were m.shoes.com, m.famousfootwear.com, and m.naturalizer.com.
• Implemented three iOS and Android mobile applications value just over $1 Million in gross mobile sales in 2010. Incremental $100K investment in 2011, $4 Million increase in incremental mobile sales first year.
• Led international integration effort. Drove 4% of shoes.com gross revenue increase from integration of shoes.com with international partner. Enabled shoes.com to sell in 97 countries.
• Created and evolved first Usability team with in-house lab for immediate feedback on prototypes.
• Produced $1.7 million in incremental sales within first year of operation (utilized (DART) projects). Small efforts with rapid deployment focused on trial and error application changes.
• Implemented Agile SDLC model (fall of 2008) and developed medium project size delivery model (DARTs)

Development and centralization of global website platform program including management and deployment for 24 CitiFinancial International countries; involved over 20 team members from 5 different geographic locations.

Established a 48 person development team in 18 months and delivered integrated solution to first customer in late June 2008.

• Executed business unit consolidation to one development team, hold $800K budget constant for 3 years, and added additional platform features through efficiency gains of consolidation
• Implemented first Agile SDLC at MasterCard based on XP
• Retooled development team working in startup model to meet highly aggressive deadlines for MasterCard’s highest priority project for 2007 & 2008
