Pershauna Johnson is a highly educated individual with a strong background in music education and wind conducting. She completed her Doctor of Musical Arts in Wind Conducting from Texas Tech University, where she honed her skills in conducting wind ensembles. Prior to this, she pursued her Master of Arts in Wind Conducting at Arkansas State University, building upon a foundation in music education that started with a Bachelor of Education in Music Teacher Education, also from Arkansas State University.
Throughout her academic journey, Pershauna Johnson has shown a deep commitment to music education. Her experience includes serving as a Band Director at Wynne Public Schools, where she has had the opportunity to share her passion for music with students and contribute to the development of young talents in a scholastic setting. Her dedication to music and education is evident in her work within the school system.
