Perry Smith
Perry Smith is a successful entrepreneur and restaurateur with extensive experience in the hospitality industry. He is the President of Minute Man Restaurants, a legendary restaurant concept that is currently being reinstated in his home state of Arkansas. His previous ventures include founding the multi-unit Matchbox Food Group in the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia areas, where he built top-line revenue to over $40 million. Perry's passion for people and performance has contributed to his success in developing positive opportunities for our future millennial leaders and veterans.
In 2016, Perry founded The Avalon Institute with USAF General John E. Michel (Ret.). The Avalon Institute is a business and leadership advisory that uses forward-thinking tools and strategies to aid growth and identify Best Performance Assets™ in individuals and organizations. Alongside his team of successful entrepreneurs, business leaders, division 1 athletes, current and retired military personnel, and academics, Perry continues to assist and invest in small businesses and startups. Additionally, he is a keynote speaker, coach, and expert in cognitive performance and technology, with a focus on branding.
Perry has a strong educational background, having studied history at Lehigh University and media ecology at New York University.
