Allison Perner, Ph.D.

Allison Perner holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemistry from Hofstra University. With an extensive academic background, Allison has ventured into the corporate world, showcasing her expertise in the beauty and cosmetics industry.

During her tenure at L'Oréal, Allison held various positions, demonstrating her versatility and proficiency in product innovation and development. She served as an Associate Principal Scientist in Eye Makeup Innovation, Manager in Hair Manageability & Styling Innovation, and Senior Scientist in Hair Styling across different units at L'Oréal.

Prior to her roles at L'Oréal, Allison gained valuable experience as a Scientific Associate at IMsci, a Visiting Graduate Research Assistant at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, and in different capacities at Stony Brook University and Hofstra University. Her diverse background encompasses research, management, and teaching roles within the realm of chemistry.
