P.Eng Nina Selak

P.Eng Nina Selak is a highly accomplished professional with a strong educational background in Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energy Systems.

Nina holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Renewable Energy Systems from Technische Universität Wien and a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering from The University of British Columbia (UBC). She furthered her studies at OCS.

With an impressive career trajectory, Nina has held key positions in reputable organizations. Currently, she serves as the Manager of Distributed Energy Resources (DER) Engineering at ComEd.

Prior to her current role, Nina excelled as the Principal Project Manager for Grid Modernization at ComEd and gained valuable experience as a Project Engineer and Field Service Engineer in Grid Reliability Solutions at S&C Electric Company.

Her professional journey also includes roles such as Engineer in Protection & Control Support Services at BC Hydro, Engineer in Transmission Issues at Powerex, Engineer in Electrical Design at BC Hydro, and Regional Technical Manager in Energy Services at VANOC.

Nina began her career as an Engineer-In-Training in Electrical Design at BC Hydro and also garnered experience as a Summer Intern at AREVA T&D.

Nina's expertise encompasses distributed energy resources, grid modernization, grid reliability solutions, protection & control support, transmission issues, electrical design, and energy services.
