P.Eng. Mehboob Karim

P.Eng. Mehboob Karim serves as a Subject Matter Advisor and Lead for Digital Asset Performance Management at Deloitte with over 30 years of experience in asset and operations management.

Mehboob has specialized in Digital Asset Performance Management (DAPM) for the past five years, offering strategic leadership and support to clients in various sectors such as OAG, Mining, Transportation, and manufacturing industries.

He has extensive experience in directing E2E DAPM business process analyses, digital solution reviews, and the selection process of industry-standard EAMs’ and APM technology solutions.

In his role as a Senior Advisor, Mehboob excels in asset management areas including asset criticality assessments, failure elimination, supply chain management, reliability optimization, and asset performance analytics.

Moreover, Mehboob takes on the role of Lead Coordinator at the Canadian APM Center of Excellence (CoE), where he develops APM skills and certification programs with technology partners like GE Digital, SAP, and Oracle.

An accomplished professional, Mehboob is a Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario and holds certifications in Supply Chain and Operations Management, as well as being a PEMAC certified instructor of Maintenance Management Professional courses.

His educational background includes a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Arizona.

Throughout his career, Mehboob has held various significant positions such as Chief Technical Advisor at the Institute of Business Management, Director Performance at Counterpart International, and Principal Asset Management Services at RDMI Maintenance Solutions Inc.
