Peggy Spaapen is a passionate Brand & Marketing strategist (CMO) with over 15 years of experience in positioning, branding, digital marketing, online marketing, and social media.
Currently, Peggy works at Centraal Beheer since 2014, leading the Brand, Marketing & Digital department consisting of 43 specialists as part of the Management Team. She is in charge of brand positioning strategy, digital transformation, creation and execution of brand and sales campaigns including the iconic Even Apeldoorn bellen campaigns with a digital focus. Additionally, she focuses on always-on strategies, content creation, and social media strategies to achieve brand and sales goals effectively.
Prior to her role at Centraal Beheer, Peggy worked for 9 years as a Digital/Online/Social Media expert on an interim basis across various renowned brands. She also served as the European Manager of Online Communications at IBM/Sterling Commerce for 6 years.
Peggy possesses strong communication skills, empathy, problem-solving abilities, excellent command of English, and a get-the-job-done mindset.
Her interim assignments range from strategic planning to project management of campaigns, development of online/social concepts, team management, and conducting workshops. Some of the organizations she has worked with include AkzoNobel, Lotto, Nutricia, HECC Alliance, Ohra, Kruidvat, Essent, Oracle, Ricoh, E.ON, D-Reizen, and many more.
Throughout her career, Peggy Spaapen held various roles such as Sr. Manager of Brand Positioning Strategy - Digital & Marketing at Centraal Beheer, served as a Jury Member for Esprix Awards in the 'Do Good' category, managed digital and market communications, and consulted on social media for organizations like Nationale Postcode Loterij and ASN Bank. She also has experience in online marketing, project management, ecommerce, and social media strategy across different industries.
Before Centraal Beheer, Peggy worked in roles like E-commerce Manager at Pabo, Interim Manager Online Marketing at COFELY GDF-SUEZ, Manager Online Concepting & Strategy at NEN.
