Pedro Delgado

Pedro Delgado is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the field of psychiatry and medical education.

He holds a prestigious educational background, including an MD/MA in Medicine/Pharmacology from UTMB, a Residency in Psychiatry from Yale University School of Medicine, and a BS in Biology from the University of Houston-Downtown.

Throughout his career, Pedro has held notable positions in various esteemed organizations, such as serving as the Sr. Associate Dean at the American University of the Caribbean in Sint Maarten.

Prior to his current role, he excelled as the Marie Wilson Howells Professor and Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry, as well as the Director of PRI at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

Pedro has also made significant contributions as the Dielmann Professor and Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry at UTHSCSA, the Douglas Bond Professor and Chairman at Case Western Reserve University, and as a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at The University of Arizona.

His academic journey includes earlier roles like Instructor-Assistant Professor at Yale University School of Medicine, showcasing his dedication to medical education and research.
