Working in this role as a student researcher allowed me to be responsible for working with a team of student researchers to extract data and create a system of organization for our research. This experience allowed me to gain clinical biomedical experience, while also allowing me to shadow health professionals. I also had the opportunity to mentor a high school student on their journey to college and choosing the best pathway for them, while also helping them learn more about research.

1. Conducted extensive research on pulse oximeters and phantom fingers to enhance pulse oximetry experiments.
2. Designed and developed a fully functional and reusable phantom finger with pulsatile blood flow and a diverse range of skin colors.
3. Collaborated closely with the principal investigator and a team of colleagues to contribute to a comprehensive research project.
