Operations at PHX

I spearhead ops and platform at Infinity, an organisation funded by Quantum Delta focusing on venture building and supporting Quantum startups in the Netherlands and globally. In addition to our startup support program (experts network, startup resources and tools), we provide intelligence on the quantum industry worldwide (via our data platform and reports) and build and engage the international network of quantum-relevant stakeholders (global industry collaborations and events with investors, enterprises, researchers and entrepreneurs).

- Built and scaled Infinity program supporting Quantum startups/spinouts with venture-building (40+ teams)
- Coordinating strategy, innovation projects, commercial and partnership functions 
- Directing data platform and user applications. Created a quantum industry dashboard (web-application) used by 550+ MAU
- Established Infinity as a leader in industry insights and reports (latest report in telecom with Telefónica, KPN, Deutsche Telekom and more with 1,000+ views)
- Consulting startup teams on commercial, funding and growth topics. Advised on 20+ funding rounds (€70M+)
- Member of European Quantum Industry Consortium (QuIC) Working Group SME and Funding

Worked together with TEDx and ESADE university staff to design the TEDx ESADE 2020 experience.
 
- Designed the TEDx ESADE 2020 overarching topic and theme of "The new roaring 20's"
- Led speaker selection and invitation management (10+ high-profile speakers)
- Oversaw copywriting and promotional content strategy (attracted 100s of guests and participants to the first virtual TEDx event)

I am part of the Founding team of PHX. PHX partners with municipal partners across NL to support regional startups’ fundraising and collaborates with select startups on fundraising (SaaS). As Head of Ops, I manage operations, strategic and commercial functions.
 
In the last 4 years:
- Created a fundraising-focused accelerator for European startups
- Advised startup founding and C-level teams on fundraising. Supported 30+ funding rounds (c. €250M) from Pre-Seed to Series B  
- Hosted 30+ global gatherings connecting 2,200+ top-tier investors (VC/LP/Angel), established entrepreneurs, renowned researchers and corporate leaders
- Developed assessment framework for investor-readiness, facilitating investor discovery and outreach
- Built internal operations infrastructure (companies database with 15,000+ investors, sales pipeline & CRM, fundraising frameworks, BI & dashboarding, tools for startups). Developed and launched SaaS for startup fundraising

- Led project management at community team
- Hosted 15+ events across US and Europe, connecting leading Dutch scale-ups with international investors

International Projects Associate

As Investment Banking intern at Rabobank, I supported deal sourcing and deal execution activities at the largest Mergers & Acquisitions team in the Netherlands (60+ people team). I collaborated with senior management team to generate new leads, initiate new client projects, execute ongoing buy- and sell-side projects. Key achievements:
- Coordinated and contributed to a successful sell-side project from pitching to bidder selection stages and eventual sale (€100M sale of a food technology company)
- Performed market analyses, company valuations and due diligence for 10+ M&A deals
- Prepared client presentations (pitch book, CIM, teaser)

Investment Banking - M&A

Midas Investments is a student-run investment fund operating within the scope of the B&R Beurs Investment Competition sponsored by Flow Traders. 

For 3 years, I:
- Led investment activities at 20 people team: performed due diligence and analysed and presented investment proposals, performed portfolio management and reporting
- Achieved 3rd place in Flow Traders Investment competition (out of 40 teams) by delivering substantial (30%+) returns on public equities portfolio
- Performed financial modelling and risk assessments (specifically capturing M2 risk-adjusted metric)

Student-run Fund Investment Manager

As a student ambassador of the undergraduate program of International Business Administration at Rotterdam School of Management (RSM), I supported the university staff with student acquisition, communications and marketing activities. Key achievements:
- Hosted 6 open days on campus and presented at information sessions
- Advised on student applications to the IBA program (100+ applicants)
- Represented the IBA programme at education fairs, contributed to copywriting and social media engagements

As a voluntary community manager at the Student Hotel Rotterdam, I organized and managed over 20 events for residents of The Student Hotel. I was responsible for copywriting, event preparation and execution (led negotiations with suppliers, performed invitation management)
