Pavel Iosad

Pavel Iosad is a Professor of Synchronic and Diachronic Phonology in the Department of Linguistics and English Language at the University of Edinburgh.13 He received his PhD from the University of Tromsø and previously held a lectureship at the University of Ulster.1 Iosad's research focuses on theoretical phonology, particularly phonological representations, feature theory, and interfaces.2 He specializes in Celtic, Germanic (especially North Germanic), and Slavic languages.12
