Pauliina Alanen is an entrepreneurial individual with a strong interest in technology and new ideas, particularly in the startup world.

With a background in social sciences, Pauliina is passionate about how innovations can benefit society and address major challenges like climate change.

Having lived in San Francisco for 1.5 years, Pauliina is now based in Helsinki and holds the position of Communications & Marketing Lead at Silo AI, the largest private AI lab in the Nordics.

Her expertise lies in content creation, storytelling, branding, design, and digital marketing, specifically in fast-paced startup and B2B settings.

Pauliina enjoys presenting, facilitating, and collaborating with others, and is currently expanding her knowledge in service design and AI.

She thrives in supporting company growth, drawing from her extensive experience in startups in Silicon Valley and Finland.

Pauliina's international experience from living in France, Spain, and the US has fostered her appreciation for diverse environments; she is fluent in English, French, Spanish, and Finnish.

Her educational background includes a Master's degree in Social Sciences from the University of Helsinki, as well as studying Business/Corporate Communications as a minor subject at Aalto University.

In addition to her current role at Silo AI, Pauliina has held various positions in organizations such as Startuplifers, Slush, BetterDoctor, UPM, Drum Communications Inc., and Jolla.
