Paulette Richards

Paulette Richards is an accomplished scholar, educator, artist, and entrepreneur with a deep passion for French language, culture, and literature. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and a Master's Degree in French Studies from the University of Virginia, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in French Studies from Georgetown University. Her academic achievements and language proficiency have enabled her to teach French at various levels, from ESL instruction to higher education, and to undertake innovative research projects at prestigious institutions such as the Georgia Institute of Technology and the Institut Français.

Besides her academic pursuits, Paulette has leveraged her multilingual and multicultural background to pursue a career as an artist and entrepreneur. As an innovator and artist in residence, she has developed projects that explore the intersection of technology, education, and culture, such as the creation of language-learning apps, the staging of theatrical productions, and the use of performance art to promote cultural dialogue. In 2018, she founded Ayamedia, a language consulting and production company that offers customized content and services to businesses and individuals seeking to improve their linguistic and cultural competence.
