Paula McIntosh is an experienced interior designer and the founder of PJM Interiors, a design studio located outside Chicago, established in 2013. Specializing in residential, hospitality, and commercial spaces, PJM Interiors is known for creating inviting and inspiring environments by blending colors, textures, and styles in a way that reflects each client's unique personality while maintaining functionality and comfort.
With a career spanning 15 years, Paula has collaborated with renowned designers, architects, developers, engineers, and builders on various residential and commercial projects, emphasizing an integrated and collaborative design approach. Her diverse experiences have nurtured her passion for crafting harmonious and livable spaces that resonate with her clients' preferences and visions.
Paula McIntosh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Interior Designers Institute and completed her education at Federal Way High School. Additionally, she studied Communications at the University of Michigan. Her academic background coupled with her extensive industry experience has equipped her with a holistic understanding of design principles and effective communication skills.
Throughout her career, Paula has held key positions in prominent organizations. Besides being the Principal at PJM Interiors, she has served as the Design Director at Palmetto Interiors of Charleston, Inc., and held roles as an Interior Designer at Callison, Susan Marinello Interiors, and McKay Design Group. These roles have enriched her professional acumen and enabled her to refine her design sensibilities across different design niches and project scopes.
