Paula Fryer

Paula Mathias Fryer brings over a decade of HR and recruitment experience to her role at SLO Partners, where she excels in managing relationships with the local business community to fulfill their hiring requirements.

With a strong passion for matching organizations with the perfect employees, Paula has a proven track record in establishing connections across various business sectors and among individuals.

Before joining SLO Partners, Paula held the position of Talent Acquisition Specialist, focusing on recruiting, interviewing, and hiring candidates within the software industry.

Alongside her professional duties, Paula is a part-time faculty member at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, teaching Career Readiness for the College of Business, concentrating on career development and preparation.

Motivated by the lack of diversity in the tech industry, Paula was drawn to SLO Partners, an organization dedicated to training individuals of all backgrounds and ages to produce candidates with diverse skills, passions, and viewpoints.

Paula Mathias Fryer holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Business from Whitworth University and has taken on various roles such as Director at SLO Partners, Teaching Faculty at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, Talent Acquisition Specialist, and Head of Human Resources and Recruitment at Gaine, among others.

She has also worked as an Operations Manager at Gaine, an Independent Contractor for marketing, and as a U.S. Representative at Disneyland Paris.
