Paula Lopez

Paula Álvarez López is the Global Employee Experience Manager at Recover, a role she has taken on after a diverse career in engineering and management. She studied Engineering of Industrial Technologies at the University of Oviedo in Spain and completed her studies with an Erasmus scholarship in Berlin, Germany. Her professional journey began at CERN, where she worked in the technical project management department for nearly two years, gaining valuable experience in a highly innovative environment.1

Following her time at CERN, Paula joined McKinsey & Company in Madrid, where she worked for two years before pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Harvard University. This educational background has equipped her with a strong blend of technical and managerial skills, which she now applies in her current position at Recover.12

In addition to her professional achievements, Paula is passionate about sustainability and aims to leverage emerging technologies to address environmental challenges. She has expressed a desire to contribute positively to society through her work.1 Outside of her career, Paula enjoys basketball and classical music, having played the viola at a professional level since childhood.1
