Paul Watson is a self-taught programmer with over 20 years of experience in web development, team building, product process, and scaling digital technology businesses. He believes that the digital world is a tool for solving problems and creating opportunities, and that people and outcomes are more important than the technology itself.
Paul has an educational background in computer programming, having studied a diploma in the field at Van Zyl & Pritchard. Throughout his 20 years of professional experience, Paul has had the opportunity to work with various teams and startups, many of which were headquartered in Ireland, where he spent over a decade of his career. During his time as a CTO, he helped a startup through to acquisition, and later, as the CTO and co-founder of an Irish company, he worked remotely while maintaining daily check-ins with the Dublin team and continuing his hands-on coding and infrastructure work.
