Paul Watson

Paul Watson is a self-taught programmer with over 20 years of experience in web development, team building, product process, and scaling digital technology businesses. He believes that the digital world is a tool for solving problems and creating opportunities, and that people and outcomes are more important than the technology itself.

Paul has an educational background in computer programming, having studied a diploma in the field at Van Zyl & Pritchard. Over the years, he has worked with various organizations in different capacities, including Chief Technology Officer at Caliber Media Works, Junior Section Club Captain at Somerset West Cricket Club, CTO and co-founder at Kinzen, Web Developer at ChangeX, Consultant at KonnectAgain, CTO at Storyful, Consultant at Digital Reach Group, Developer at Global Business Register Ltd, Senior Web Developer at MUZU.tv, Developer at TSSG, Web Developer at Bluegrass Digital, and Developer at Radio Retail.

Throughout his 20 years of professional experience, Paul has had the opportunity to work with various teams and startups, many of which were headquartered in Ireland, where he spent over a decade of his career. During his time as a CTO, he helped a startup through to acquisition, and later, as the CTO and co-founder of an Irish company, he worked remotely while maintaining daily check-ins with the Dublin team and continuing his hands-on coding and infrastructure work.
